Paul TaggePaul’s “wow” sound experience:
When audio became digital. I still remember listening to music on a CD player for the first time and how amazed I was at how clear the audio was compared to vinyl records or cassette tapes.

Paul’s favorite part of a day at Listen:
The experiences that are the most fulfilling for me here at Listen involve hearing the stories about how are products are used. I especially love hearing the stories about how our products have changed people’s lives in allowing them to be able to hear in an environment that they weren’t able to hear in before. Knowing that I am part of a company that is making a difference in people’s lives makes my work much more rewarding.

Paul’s dream sound product of the future:
A device you carry with you all the time and where ever you go. This device is customized to your preferred sound level and learns over time what sounds you like and don’t like to hear. As sounds occur around you, it would amplify the sounds you like to hear and minimize the sounds you don’t like to hear. When you are walking outside, it would amplify the sound of song birds in the distance and minimize the noise of a train that is nearby. When you are talking with someone, it would eliminate the need to ever say “What did you say?” because it would always modify the level of the sound so you always hear it at the level that is perfect for you. When you go to a movie, it would modify the sound so it wasn’t too loud and you would hear every word even when whispered.
