Overview

The RS 4232 Interface card is placed inside the central unit to allow the CDS 4000 system to communicate with CDS 4000 commander software on a PC or an AMX/Crestron system. The card has two ports, one (1) RS232 and one (1) RS422 which may be used simultaneously.

FAQ

Does the system work with third party control companies such as AMX or Crestron?  
Yes, however RS 4232 card is required.
 
Are there any software applications that I can use with the CDS 4000 system?
Yes, the SW 4210, 4211 and 4220. Features monitoring, microphone control, geographical/mimic display, etc. The software is functional in parallel with other control units such as the MC 4000 and external control systems. Note: The SW 42XX requires an RS 4232 interface card to be inserted into the CU.
