A conferencing microphone typically consists of a microphone, pushbutton and loudspeaker in a convenient self contained unit. Each person participating in the meeting would have their own unit placed on the table in front of them. Throughout the meeting or conference, when a participant would like to speak, they simply press the button in front of them to activate their microphone. Their voice would then be heard throughout the room coming from the built in loudspeakers. But that’s not all…

Not only do you gain audio reinforcement for meeting intelligibility, you will also have extended controls for meeting management and protocol. System settings such as total allowed active microphones, a request to speak list, and the chairman override button are all tools that help facilitate maximum meeting productivity.
