Navigating the digital signage industry at a trade show can prove to be an overwhelming experience for any trade show visitor. Minicom Digital Signage has designed a solution with its “Digital Signage Expert Tours” to help trade show visitors understand the digital signage puzzle. The tours are conducted free of charge at trade shows such as Integrated Systems Europe, Digital Signage Expo, Screen Media Expo Europe and InfoComm.The free tour provides an overview of a selection of exhibitors that helps participants understand the various considerations to digital signage.

Last week Minicom hosted two tours each day at the 2010 ISE show in Amsterdam. Here are some of the highlights of the tours.
- Minicom had 25 – 30 attendees for each of the tours which focused on educating about the basics of Digital Signage.
- The tours ran approximately an hour each and tour participants learned “best practices” on content, display options, using digital signage indoors and out, protecting displays outdoors as well as the many tools available to monitor the success of digital signage.
- The tour participants were given a brief introduction by visiting several tour sponsors who did an educational overview at their booths.
- Tour participants were able to follow along and hear each presentation through a tour group system sponsored by Listen Technologies Corporation.
