FAQ

What is the difference between the LR-400-150 and the LR-500-150?
The LR-500-150 gives the user an opportunity to lockout unused channels and has the controls on the outside of the front door.

Can the LR-400-150 be used with multiple transmitters?
Yes. The LR-400-150 can be used with multiple transmitters, but unlike the LR-500-150, it cannot be programmed to lock out channels.
How many receivers can I have in a system?
As many as needed, the number is endless.
What is the function of SQ?
To reduce noise of its systems, Listen now offers a noise reduction technology called ListenSQ™. Both the transmitter and receiver must have SQ on to achieve the desired results. If the user is planning to use this product with older Listen systems or equipment not manufactured by Listen, SQ should be disabled.

What is Squelching?
The purpose of squelch is to mute the audio output of the receiver when the signal from the transmitter is turned off or is too weak to be received. Without squelch, radio noise would be heard in the earphone. The squelch function is can be programmed to the desired setting with the LR-400-150.

How long do the batteries last on the LR-400-150 receiver?
Alkaline batteries last 30 hours. NiMH rechargeable batteries last 15 hours.

What is the warranty of Listen receivers?
Limited lifetime warranty. The following cases will void the warranty:
  • Misuse, dropping, or any other noticeable cosmetic damage.
  • Charging alkaline batteries instead of NiMH.
  • Overheating the charging process by closing the lid on the charging case.
