Overview

The Confidea DIV-C  is a wireless fully digital portable delegate conference unit perfect for permanent or temporary meetings with speech, voting and/or language interpretation. The unit features a built-in loudspeaker, screw lock connector for a pluggable gooseneck microphone, one channel selector, two 3.5 mm (0.14 in.) headphone jacks, a single microphone button, five voting buttons, an OLED channel and volume display. The wireless unit is powered by a custom Lithium-ion battery pack. The unit can either be controlled by the delegates or remotely by the operator/conference chair. The gain/sensitivity of the microphone/loudspeaker can be remotely controlled by the operator via web based set up application built into the wireless access point for the system. The microphone button is located between two LEDs to indicate whether the unit is on (RED) or in the request-to-speak queue (GREEN). The loudspeaker is automatically switched off when the microphone is activated to prevent acoustic feedback.

FAQ

Do I need software to use the voting feature?
No, the Confidea CIV, CV, DIV and DV provide for voting functions. The chairman units have the ability to start/stop voting and place a vote while the delegate units can only place a vote once a vote is started by a chairman unit. The results will then be automatically displayed on the each of the conference units OLED status display when the vote has been stopped by a chairman unit.
How many wireless units can be connected to the WCAP+?
The total number of units that can be connected is 1024; however the distance from the WACP+ for connectivity is limited to 30 meters. Contact Listen Technical Support for more information.

How long can a conference unit operate on a fully charged battery?
A fully charged battery will last up to 20 hours of continuous use. Charge time for a battery is approximately 90 minutes. Charge times can vary based upon the temperature and venting of the charging unit. Charger must be well ventilated.

Can I use a conference system without chairman unit?
Yes you can, however, there will not be any priority function available. The chairman will not be able to manage the microphone system.

Does the system have a wireless Interpretation unit?
No, to provide interpretation services the system must connect to a Confidea Central Unit and have a wired ID2500 interpreter’s control unit attached to the Central Unit. Confidea FW FLR+8 Firmware License must be purchased and loaded on to the Central Unit to allow interpretation channels to be enabled on the conference units.
