About Patricia Guth

Patricia Guth is a long-time travel writer and human interest reporter, beginning her career in 1997 with several newspapers in suburban Philadelphia. Pat holds degrees both in journalism and in music and, as such, juggles careers in writing and in the field of choral conducting. Often, she combines the two, offering blogs, papers, and articles on music education, performance, and other music-related topics.

As a writer, musician, and avid wanderer, Pat (and her family) have traveled far and wide, visiting most of the 50 states, numerous islands, and 14 European countries. In addition, she functions as tour director and guide for her 95-voice women’s chorus when they travel every two years on international performance tours.

Besides travel and music, Pat enjoys cooking gourmet meals, knitting, reading, taking mother/daughter trips with her adult daughter, and playing with her new grandbaby.
