Project: Duracell Batteries

The Duracell Aarschot (Belgium) plant is an international high-tech production facility spreading over 42,000 sq. m. where 500 employees produce high-performance alkaline batteries for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Problem

COVID-19 has placed global restrictions on the way we do business. Social distancing is the number one thing you can do to keep employees and guests safe. For many companies such as Duracell Aarschot, it is not possible for employees to work remotely because production on the plant floor must continue. However, face masks and distance on an already noisy floor creates barriers to communications and safety.

Solution

ListenTALK is a mobile two-way communication system, allowing frontline teams to maintain a safe distance while still doing the work required to keep the world running. The wireless system features a sleek, wearable transceiver (combination transmitter/receiver) that enables mobile group communication with the touch of a button.
