300,000 Meals for Salt Lake City Families
At Listen Technologies, we believe in using our time and resources to strengthen the communities where we live and work. Through ListenGIVES, our employee volunteer program, we support causes that make a real difference.
This September, our team will join thousands of volunteers nationwide for 9/11 Day, the largest day of service in the United States. In Salt Lake City, we’ll help pack 300,000 meals for local families facing food insecurity, part of a national effort to prepare 9 million meals in a single day. Together, more than 30,000 volunteers in 25 cities will roll up their sleeves for this meaningful cause.
For our employees, this event is more than just a volunteer shift, it’s a chance to honor the spirit of service, connect with our community, and contribute to a tangible impact. It’s one of many ways Listen Technologies is committed to giving back and making a difference.
Erase Student Lunch Debt
Imagine a Utah student not being allowed to take part in graduation activities because of a simple school lunch debt.
Numbers show that students in the state are currently burdened with over $2.8 million in lunch debt and one penalty could mean not being able to walk with their class at graduation.
FOX 13 News is leading the charge to erase that debt, along with help from charitable Utahns, with the goal of raising as much as possible to help students eliminate their money owed.
Listen Technologies has donated $500 to this great cause to support our local community.
