Ampetronic Completes Installation of Auri™ in Bristol Temple Meads Station

Ampetronic, a leading provider of hearing loop systems, has completed the installation of Auri™, powered by Ampetronic and Listen Technologies, at Bristol Temple Meads Station in Bristol, England. Auri™ is the world’s first complete Auracast™ broadcast audio-based assistive listening system. This installation is the first public integration of Auri™ in a transport environment.

Grace Lutheran Church Provides Clear, Accessible Sound for All

To enhance Grace Lutheran’s assistive listening capabilities, Bellavia and Nattress turned to Auracast broadcast audio, a Bluetooth audio capability that met all of the church’s evolving needs. The church chose the Auri system, an Auracast package from Ampetronic and Listen Technologies, consisting of one transmitter, eight receivers, a charging rack, earpieces and neck loops. “At the time, it [Auri] was the only fully ADA-compliant solution available with handheld receivers and a convenient charging rack,” explained Bellavia.

Setting the Stage for Inclusion with Auri at Everyman Theatre

Ampetronic | Listen Technologies provided a complete Auri system, using Auracast™ broadcast audio to wirelessly stream high-quality sound directly to hearing aids, cochlear implants, or earbuds. The installation included three AURI TX2N-D transmitters to broadcast the audio, supported by two AURI D16 docking stations for efficient charging and management, and 32 AURI RX1 receivers for patrons who may not have compatible personal devices. This system allows audience members to connect to the theatre’s audio stream as easily as joining a Wi-Fi network, combining cutting-edge accessibility with simple, user-friendly operation.
