Pro audio solution lets guests personalize their TV viewing experience

INFOCOMM – ORLANDO – June 15, 2017Listen Technologies, a leading provider of assistive listening and personal listening products for more than 17 years, announced that the Caesars Palace Race and Sports Book, a sports betting institution, has implemented ListenWiFi in its redesigned venue on the Las Vegas Strip.

To capture millennial market share and deliver an exceptional guest experience in its Race and Sports Book, Caesars Palace designed a multi-media space that includes a 138-foot by 10-foot curved LED video wall capable of 96 different configurations. In addition to the installed audio component of the wall, Caesars Palace wanted to include a personal listening system that would increase engagement and allow guests to have their own unique viewing experience from any seat.

ListenWiFi proved to be the ideal choice for the Sports Book. The award-winning pro audio solution enhances any audio video application by enabling guests to easily stream TV audio in their native language to their personal smartphones and devices via Wi-Fi. ListenWiFi is highly scalable and can support up to 48 different channels simultaneously across more than 1,000 devices. It also delivers unprecedented audio quality, manageability and flexibility. There are no monthly fees or hidden contracts for the Sports Book.

“The free Internet and ListenWiFi app make it easy for guests to have an interactive experience,” said Vincent King, president of King Audio Video Integration and Consulting, Las Vegas. King played a primary role in installing ListenWiFi at the Sports Book. “Guests can check stats and analyze their team’s performance in real time while listening to their preferred audio channel and watching all the action on the video wall.”

Guests at the Sports Book simply download the free ListenWiFi app on their mobile device, connect to the ListenWiFi personal listening network and tune into the channel displayed on the television. Audio channels and the app contents are managed via the cloud.

“When you walk through the Sports Book at Caesars Palace, you see everyone has a smartphone, most people are multi-tasking on the phone and almost everyone has earbuds,” added King. “ListenWiFi enables Caesars Palace to offer a truly tailor-made experience that is unlike anything else available on the Strip.”

Since the renovation, the Sports Book has introduced a VIP seating area that regularly sells out. Guests stay longer and spend more money than they did before, and in just a few months, the Sports Book was able to recoup the cost of the renovation.

“Caesars Palace was willing to transform its business and invest in the latest personal audio technology, ListenWiFi, that appeals to its audience and delivers exceptional guest experiences,” said Russ Gentner, president and CEO of Listen Technologies.

Listen Technologies will be demonstrating ListenWiFi at InfoComm 2017 at booth number 1823. Listen Technologies’ booth will feature a mock video wall and visitors will be able to switch between different screens using ListenWiFi.
