The most advanced of Listen’s portable receivers, the LR-500-150 Programmable Display Receiver can be programmed so users can only tune to desired channels. This receiver is ideal for venue applications where more than one source (transmitter) is used and one receiver is desired to tune into all sources (transmitters). The LR-500-150 is excellent for language interpretation when multiple languages are being spoken or venues where multiple tours are taking place. Its design gives the user ease of changing to the desired channels with the channel selection buttons through the door. Along with the programming abilities, the LR-500-150 gives the user clean audio reception (80 dB SNR), an LCD display, SmartCharge™, and the option to seek for open channels.

Architectural Specs

The RF receiver shall be capable of receiving on 32 channels. The receiver shall have a SNR of 80 dB or greater. The receiver shall be programmable to electronically lock out unneeded channels. The receiver shall be capable of seeking channels locked on an active channel. The device shall have a squelch. The unit shall have an audio frequency response of 50 Hz to 15 kHz (‘±3 dB). The device shall incorporate a stereo headset jack that allows the user to plug in either a mono or stereo headset and listen to audio normally. The device shall incorporate an LCD display. QWhat is the difference between the LR-400-150 and the LR-500-150?
AThe LR-500-150 gives the user an opportunity to lockout unused channels and has the controls on the outside of the front door.
QCan the LR-500-150 be used with multiple transmitters?
AYes. We recommend the LR-500-150 for use with multiple transmitters. The LR-500-150 is programmable and can be set to just those channels needed.
QHow many channels can I program into the LR-500-150?
AAs many as needed. The receiver has 32 channels that can be program it to have just the channels needed to be accessed. It can be a two channel receiver, a 12 channel receiver, or keep all channels.
QWhat is the function of SQ?
ATo reduce noise of the systems, Listen offers a noise reduction technology called ListenSQ™. Both the transmitter and receiver must have SQ on to achieve the desired results. If you are planning to use this product with older Listen systems or equipment not manufactured by Listen, you should disable SQ.
QHow many receivers can I have in a system?
AAs many as you need, the number is endless.
