Listen’s LR-100 Stationary RF Receiver/Power Amplifier is a stationary auditory assistance receiver with a built-in power amplifier. When used with a Listen transmitter, the LR-100 can deliver high quality audio for use in a variety of locations and applications — most commonly with a wireless audio distributed system. This unit has Listen’s signature Look&ListenTM LCD Display showing channel, lock, and battery level. A security cover protects auxiliary and receiver volume, adjustable squelch and trim controls. It has an balanced or unbalanced speaker wire output options. Multiple input options give this unit great flexibility. It’s powered by a 15 VAC/1000mA power input or 12 VDC battery. An antenna is needed for reception.

Architectural Specs

The Stationary RFReceiver/Power Amplifier shall be capable of receiving on 57 wide and narrow band channels in the frequency ranges of either 72 MHz or 216 MHz. The receiver shall be programmable to electronically lock out unneeded channels. The device shall have an adjustable squelch with an LED indication. The device shall have an audio frequency response of 50 Hz to 15k Hz, ‘±3 dB at 72 MHz, or of 50 Hz to 10 kHz, ‘±3 dB at 216 MHz. The signal to noise ratio shall be 80dB or greater. The device will have an integrated 15 watt power amplifier capable of driving an 8 ohm speaker. The device shall be rack mountable and shall have the capability of a remote antenna. The device shall incorporate an LCD display that indicates channel and RF signal strength. The Listen LR-100 is specified.

Q What is the function of SQ?
A To reduce noise of the systems, Listen offers a noise reduction technology called ListenSQ™. Both the transmitter and receiver must have SQ on to achieve the desired results. If you are planning to use this product with older Listen systems or equipment not manufactured by Listen, you should disable SQ.
Q How many LR-100's can I use in a system?
A As many as you need, the number is endless.
Q Can I interface this to an amplifier or powered speaker?
A Yes, both.
Q Do I run the speakers in series or parallel?
A It's your choice. However minimum impedance attached to LR-100 speaker amplifier must be greater than 4 ohms.
