Overview

The FC 6021 F Chairman Flush Panel is a cost-effective way to permanently flush mount a microphone, microphone button and priority override button. Made of 2.5 mm black anodized aluminum, the panel is very unobtrusive. The unit enables conference chairs to speak, register a request-to-speak, listen to other speakers and override delegates with the priority button. The unit can either be controlled by the microphone button or remotely by the operator. The unit provides a lockable 3 pin XLR connector for a pluggable microphone (sold separately). Mounting is easy with available screw holes on all four corners of the unit. A single 3.3 ft. (1 m) cable is provided to connect to the under-the-table MU 4040 (CDS 4000) or MU 6040 C (DCS 6000) control box. The panel can be customized to fit your specific application.

FAQ

How many microphone units can be connected to the CU?
The total number of units that can be connected is based on cable length, type of CU and the type of unit being connected, but on each output of a CU 6010 you can typically get about 30 to 42 delegate/chairman units, or 20 to 30 flush mount units, or 16 Interpreter Sets. More units can be added with extension power supplies. Contact Listen Technical Support for more information.

How far can the daisy chain cabling go?
656 ft. (200 m) without any repeaters. Up to 2,132 ft. (650 m) with repeaters and further when using optical cables. Contact Listen tech support for more information.

Can I mix and match different microphone styles with the system?
Yes, all the DCS 6000 units with a loop through (all except the DT/IT) can be connected in parallel or serial configurations.

Is the cabling proprietary cabling?
No, but it must be shielded Cat-5 (FTP /STP). Depending on the specification, higher shielded CAT cables can be used for extension cables as well.
