Who should attend? Anyone interested in gaining a greater understanding & utilization of hearing loops. 

Overview: This 2 hour webinar will cover basic Perimeter Hearing Loop system design considerations, and requirements for ordering, installing and commissioning Perimeter Hearing Loop products. Participants will be instructed on the available options for Listen design services and support, including what information is required from the installation location to properly define, specify and install a Perimeter Hearing Loop system.

Overview:

This 8 hour (full workday) training session will take you through the steps required to properly install a Hearing Loop system.  The course will introduce loop systems principles and give greater understanding in the specification and design considerations of different kinds of loops systems including basic, advanced and phased-array types.  All attendees will gain both theory and hands on practical experience of installing, setting up, testing and certifying a hearing loop system.   You will learn how to effectively set up and measure the system to meet standards, as well as certifying the system to those standards.  Participants will gain a working knowledge of the different types of test equipment and methods of proper use, as well as the requirements of the International performance standard, IEC60118-4.  From good wiring practices, to product placement, participants will also learn how to troubleshoot the various real-world challenges you may come across and how to minimize their impact on the systems performance and utility.   For effective specification and installation of all types of loop systems, a thorough site survey is critical.  Methods for performing such surveys will be covered.  At the completion of this session, participants will be certified as a hearing loop installer capable of meetings performance standard IEC60118-4.
