Set up Listen EVERYWHERE in 4 Easy Steps

You’ve purchased the best streaming audio product on the market. So now what do you do?

The good news is that Listen EVERYWHERE is a cinch to set up. After a few simple steps, you’ll be streaming audio to everywhere your Wi-Fi reaches, and to anyone with the free app.

Here’s how:

Step 1: Connect the audio

You need an audio source from which to stream Listen EVERYWHERE, so let’s start there. Connect your audio source—this could be your set-top boxes, music system, or mixing console. You’ll connect the Listen EVERYWHERE server via the terminal block connectors on the rear panel. If you’ve got one of the LW-100P units, you may use the provided RCA connection cable.

It’s important to note that the input connectors accept line-level audio inputs. The LW-100P unit’s RCA connectors are unbalanced sum-to-mono inputs. So if you need stereo, connect the audio sources to the (1)L and (2)R connectors and then choose “stereo” in the cloud service.

Step: 2: Connect To the Network

Besides an audio source, Listen EVERYWHERE uses your existing Wi-Fi network. Connect the Listen EVERYWHERE server to the local area network (or LAN) using the ethernet port on the server’s rear panel. Then plug in the power cable. You’ll see a flashing blue light indicating the server is booting up. The light will turn solid once it establishes the network connection. You may use the provided CAT6 cable to connect the Listen EVERYWHERE server to the network router or network switch.

We recommend using 5 GHz or dual-band access points, instead of 2.4 GHz bands. More devices use the 2.4 GHz band, including microwaves, wireless phones, garage door openers, and microphones, so the 5 GHz band will deliver clearer sound.

It’s also worth mentioning that smart devices and the Listen EVERYWHERE must be on the same public network.

Step 3: Download the App

Once you’ve got Listen EVERYWHERE connected to your audio and network, it’s time to download the free app. You can find it on Google Play or Apple’s App Store. Once you’ve got it, join the Wi-Fi, launch the app, choose your channel and listen away!

Step 4: Advertise!

Make sure your guests or customers know you’ve got the Listen EVERYWHERE system. Put up signs and posters, and make sure your staff or volunteers mention it to everyone who walks through the door.

• Your first and last name, phone number, and email
• Your company name, phone number, venue type, and physical address
• The Listen EVERYWHERE server number (it looks like AEL6-2345-43RF-TEW9)
