I knew that Global Equipment Network, Inc. had the perfect solution when producers of the Say Yes To The Dress show on the TLC network approached me about providing an audio solution for a viewing party of The Royal Wedding in Times Square.
When the Indy Racing League (IRL) scheduled a circuit race at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham AL for the first time in April of 2010, audio was the last subject on the to-do list. After the race was completed, it was very clear that audio would now become mission number 1 before securing the next race date in 2011. Broadcast audio and integration was problematic and the complaints on the public address system’s quality and volume were to be addressed immediately. It was decided to renovate the audio system entirely.
We had a great day Monday kicking off InfoComm AV week with a behind-the-scenes tour of Utah Opera’s production of La Bohème. Capitol Theatre in beautiful Salt Lake City Utah was our setting for the tour.
The Waste Education Centre at Donarbon Waste Management Park in Waterbeach, is open to anybody from the Cambridgeshire’s community who is interested in finding out more about what happens to their waste. Working in partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council, they welcome visits from schools and colleges, special interest groups, local businesses and the general public. The centerpiece of the 400-acre park is a £41.5 million, state of the art Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) plant with attached education center.
Apple Sound Ltd has supplied Donarbon Waste with a Listen Technologies tour guide system to help with their education programme. This enables up to 30 people on a tour to hear clearly what the tour guide has to say. Karen Brenchley at Donarbon explained,
Coors Field is home to the Colorado Rockies. The 76 acre stadium is located in Denvers lower downtown ballpark neighborhood and provides baseball fans with an amazing setting with the Rocky Mountains as a back drop to enjoy a ballgame.
Campbell County High School, home of the Campbell County Camels installed a new track and field this year and needed to get audio to the far side of their stadium. The problem was that they did not trench for this consideration and no one wanted to dig up their brand new track. They came to Larry Crawford, Account Engineer with 5280 Digital with this challenge. Fortunately, Larry already had several successful installs under his belt with Listen Technologies and had understood how to use Listen for Wireless Audio Distribution.

When its game time at Lambeau Field (the teams home), theres plenty of history, excitement, lots of sports fans in attendance, and an overwhelmingly high level of wireless technology keeping the lines of communication open.
There’s a lot of talk about how to improve grades in the classroom. And with so much pressure on the budget, there’s a great concern that our students might not get the complete education they deserve. I came across a study that was presented at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Convention in Orlando, FL on December 9, 1995. The Hale Centre Theatre first became a Listen customer in 2003 when they contacted us looking for a replacement to their installed assistive listening system. Since they were familiar with such systems and they had experience with another brand, they requested an evaluation system prior to making their final decision.
